Huge loss to the business especially Bellator. Since Ali died, its been a roller coaster last few days. Ali dying, Ali son in law fighting on UFC 199 fight pass,UFC 199 ppv, Bisping winning the title after 10 years, Brock Lesnar return, Ariel/Media vs. UFC, Hunt announce as Brock opponent for 200,now Kimbo Dying. Maybe the biggest news week in MMA/Combat sports history.

The "C" in UFC must stand for "cash." The UFC has received two bids in the range of $4.1 billion and a sale is close, according to an ESPN.com report Thursday. The two high bidders, per ESPN sports business inside Darren Rovell, are WME-IMG (in conjunction with Dalian Wanda Group) and China Media Capital. The sale would be for the entire company. Currently, both groups are trying to completely finance the buyout, the report said. The results of that could determine which bidder ends up buying the UFC. ESPN reported that one of the potential investors for WME-IMG is the Kraft Group, which owns the New England Patriots. A Kraft spokesman declined comment to ESPN. Robert Kraft is a friend of UFC president Dana White; White, a former Boston resident, has been spotted numerous times on the sidelines at Patriots games. White declined comment to ESPN. He has previously denied past ESPN reports of a sale. Last month, White said on The Dan Patrick Show that the promotion was not up for sale. Instead, White said, the UFC was looking to expand. "Obviously, if I'm in the middle of a deal right now, there's a lot of confidentiality involved in it," White said at the time. "We're working on expanding. We're working on growing the company and moving into other territories like China and Japan, Korea. So, yeah, we're always working on deals. "As far as the UFC being for sale, I've said this a million times, we get offers on the UFC all the time. It started in 2010. We got our first offer for the company, which was over $1 billion and we turned it down." ESPN reported May 10 that the UFC was in heavy discussions to sell and four bidders had emerged. The UFC is owned primarily by casino billionaires Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta. White and Flash Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi government, also own a percentage. www.mmafighting.com/2016/6/16/11957074/ufc-sale-reportedly-imminent-with-two-bids-in-4-1-billion-range?utm_campaign=marc_raimondi&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

Good in my opinion especially if Wme,Wanda and Kraft invest together. That is a powerful combination that includes explosion into China market.
Kraft is the most powerful owner in the nfl. Wanda Group is the biggest company in China and wme represents major athletes. Like a super group. Plus they want to keep Dana around.
Ufc is so big that wwe can sell all their stock and can only afford 33% of the Ufc per Meltzer.

Can't wait for Wonderboy vs. Rory. I think Rory might be too much for him for 5 rounds.

July 7th on Fight Pass only RDA vs. Alvarez for the Lightweight title Roy Nelson vs. Derrick Lewis
July 8th on FS1, TUF finale Joanna vs. Claudia for Women's Straw-weight title Will Brooks post Bellator debut
July 9th on FS1 and PPV UFC 200
I am not leaving the house next weekend. Believe it or not, Joanna vs. Claudia is the match I am looking forward the most.
The sale of UFC might be announced as well.

Ariel Helwani thinks DC and Jones are the two greatest of all time. He touts DC heavyweight record of 13-0 and only loss was to Jones. And of course, Jones is Jones, was voted greatest fighter of all time and he is only 29.
Who wins?

It is mind blowing to me that it doesn't happen more often. MMA fighters training to hard so they are almost always going into fights hurt so they will use PEDs as a way to heal faster. Hell wrestlers used to use PEDs to maintain their bodies and heal their little nagging injuries faster.
