Random Thoughts:- This was the 4th New Japan Show in Southern California (although they kept saying it was the first). The first two were Toukon Events. I was one of the few that attended the second New Japan Show in California back in 2004 at the Hollywood Athletic Club for the Toukon 2 Event, that was headlined by Bryan Danielson challenging then IWGP World Jr. Heavyweight Champion HEAT. Interestingly enough, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship wasn't defended this weekend.
- Rocky Romero was the only competitor who was at the Toukon 2 Event and both nights of the G1 Glimax USA Special.
- Once Lethal was eliminated - the IWGP US Champion wasn't going to be a resident of the United States.
- New Japan Pro Wrestling will Return to the United States in 2018
- If WWE can have an Intercontinental Championship and a United States Championship, I guess New Japan can too.
- I wonder if the IWGP US Championship will be defended in ROH?

Big Belt Though I am not crazy about the color and the design needs help as well.

Big Belt Though I am not crazy about the color and the design needs help as well. I'm kind of the keep it simple stupid with belt designs. I used to love the original ROH World Title with the Red Letters.

I'm actually pitching an opinion piece to a blog about this title win. I think it is the ultimate stamp of approval by NJPW. What better way to say Omega's the man than making him your franchise player in the American expansion?
