As long as they have the NWA World Heavyweight title on CWFH, do they actually need a UWN World title?
Still, nice to have the belt ready to go (which, looks awesome, btw) in case another curveball gets thrown their way.

Still, nice to have the belt ready to go (which, looks awesome, btw) in case another curveball gets thrown their way. The simple answer is... yes. The United Wrestling Network as it stands right now has members in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Tex/Lou, Illinois, The Winnipeg area in Canada, the UK, New York, New Jersey, and something might be coming to the Mid South area. And that's just off the top of my head. Thus far the only United companies to book the NWA World Title are IPW UK, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Ideally, there is still a need to galvanize the members and give them a united champion to book. The commitments of the NWA Worlds Champion could keep him off Hollywood TV for weeks at a time. A United Champion would probably be featured more regularly for their brand. And as a caveat, The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship had a huge impact on Dave's foray into wrestling tours in 5,000 seat arenas.

I know many of my posts seem to come off as a bit smart ass (could be because I'm a smart ass, but...), but regularly featuring a 'United' World title, then holding NWA World title matches as special attractions, would seem to almost put the United 'World' title at the "Intercontinental" level, where the current United TV title sits. I get it, we had the same issue between the Vendetta Pro Heavyweight title and the NWA Western States Heavyweight title. The Western States belt was intended as an "IC" belt, but quickly usurped the position of our own main title to the point that when we unified the belts prior to October 1st of last year, the Western States title is the one that was kept. It was the bigger deal. As it stands now, since there isn't actually a United 'World' Champion yet, but there is a World Champion being put over as above the rest (and, rightfully so), they have the United TV Title that can (and does, I think?) travel around the United promotions.

I didn't take you as being a smart ass. It felt like you were asking a legitimate question. The TV title traveled between Arizona and Hollywood when Bateman was champion. But to be honest, the title hasn't really toured much at all under Romero and now currently Sky. Romero wore the belt at the first New Japan Long Beach show last year. As it stands... Championship Wrestling from Hollywood has featured CZW World Championship, the CZW Wired Championship, the United Wrestling Network TV title, the CWFH Heritage Championship, and the United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Champions. They might have featured the Freelance title too... I'm not 100%. The thing about CWFH is that its always been an open door policy. A World Champion that actually UNITED the Network would make a lot of sense, pass just Hollywood. Not unlike the RAW and Smackdown titles.
