Hi, I wanted to open up a NWA Fight! Nation thread to raise a bit more awareness amongst you guys of what we are doing over in the UK. If you are on Facebook check us out on www.facebook.com/fightnationuk & twitter www.twitter.com/nwafightnationIf you want to check out our shows on demand go to vimeo.com/nwafightnation/vod_pages Here is a little bit of info about our next show... Saturday 27th February we had back to Eastbourne for 'DESTINATION: FIGHT!'At our last Eastbourne show the former ECW World Champion and legend 'The Franchise' Shane Douglas accepted an open challenge from Joel Redman (Former NXT Tag Champion Oliver Grey) and that match will take place! Shane Douglas has publicly stated that this is his last visit to the UK to wrestle before he retires! Doug Williams became the number 1 contender at our last show 'Winter Wonderslam' and gets his shot against 'The Villain' Marty Scurll for the NWA British Championship. At 'Modern Warfare' GUNNER made his intentions clear that he wants the champion Marty Scurll, who will be put in his way when we get to 'DESTINATION:FIGHT!' ? Also TNA Impact Wrestling stars Robbie E & DJ Z will team up but who will they face? The GZRs? The new impressive duo of Scotty Essex & Wild Boar aka Beauty & The Beast? Or will it be 3-0 in tag team competition, Jakey & Brucey…Liquid Dreams? Also on the card 'The Star Attraction' Mark Haskins, James Castle plus more to be announced!!!

That looks like an excellent card. You might want to point out that Gunner is a former NWA National Champion and at one point was being groomed to be the next NWA World Champion.

Indeed on both points gentlemen, the Franchise is certainly a former NWA World champ, an infamous one even for the few seconds he was Gunner is a regular member of our roster and over the next couple of weeks you will see our roster take a real international shape. I am not a huge fan of bringing in import talent for just one offs and like them to be part of the bigger picture.

The aim is to have a diverse roster that has a nice blend of talent across the globe, names you will certainly be familiar with and some you will get to know.
Whilst many may not be happy with the WWE product out there right now we live in a time where wrestling talent across the world in my opinion is in abundance. Whilst a different era it's certainly an exciting one.

We have just announced our next Weymouth Pavilion show, Weymouth is a town in the South West of the UK and this will be our 3rd show in the town since taking over the venue in September 2015. We have done close sell out crowds in the room but after a sit down with the owners of the venue we decided to do something some would consider a risk by completely stop charging U16's to our shows at the venue. Reason being, the local press and community have really taken to us especially when they have many carbon copy shows pop up a lot which tests not only their patience but could also damage perception of wrestling locally. Therefore to give back we will be running a free ticket campaign for Under 16's with a limit of up to 2 per buying adult. This will not change the quality of our production and wrestlers on display, it's just to say thank you to Weymouth! The NWA British Champion 'The Villain' Marty Scurll, The former 2x TNA X-Division, Television, Tag, IWGP Tag & ROH Pure Champion Doug Williams, 'The Star Attraction' Mark Haskins will appear plus Josh Bodom & 'The All Day Star' Ryan Smile will lock horns for BODOM/SMILE 3….at 1-1 who will end this feud victorious? PLUS MUCH MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!

We had a great night in Eastbourne for Fight! Nation's DESTINATION:FIGHT!
We will post full results later but just wanted to give full props to The Franchise Shane Douglas who was an absolute pleasure around the staff & fans alike!
Gunner once again put it all out there in the ring and continues to be a valued member of the FIGHT! roster Also special mentions to our current champion, Marty Scurll, the new number 1 contender Mark Haskins, DJ Z & the exciting young UK tag team Liquid Dreams!
The reaction from the fans in attendance proved we had a solid card from top to bottom!
Exciting times here and this coming week we will release news about our future with the NWA.
