The tournament started out on fire. Video promos, lots of hype for the matches, and posting results the same night as the match. But as time went on everything cooled, no more talk of a DVD though they wouldn't come straight out and say there wouldn't be one. Most people didn't know about the the semi-final matches until after they had taken place and the only promo was from Adam Pearce who had lost his match.
In the middle of it, they decided to fill the Tag Titles it was in one match in a triple threat match with one makeshift team. When the fans on the board complained say that tag titles deserved their own tournament we were chastised with the titles were too important to leave vacant. So I guess the world title wasn't that important since it was still vacant. Then of course the interesting issue where Bryan Danielson legit hurt his eye, reffed the matched and counted the wrong shoulders down, gave a half-hearted apology, and then had a miraculous recovery and wrestled a week later.

1% have been shown on Ring Warriors quite a bit lately but I don’t believe they’re exclusive there. I would imagine they work with CWFH as well.
I’m all for Crimson and Jax Dane holding NWA gold...especially if Road Warrior Animal is manning them. I was a huge mark for Austin Idol managing Aldis in the early days of the Aldis crusade. Wish Idol was still actively involved with NWA.

WGN only goes out two weeks and they are not on the schedule. Since it is paid programming I suppose they take some time off. The last two shows were highlight shows, it may be possible they are out of taped shows.

The last two shows were highlight shows, it may be possible they are out of taped shows. I think that’s probably the case. The shows haven’t been the greatest I’ve seen by a long shot but I'm all for additional wrestling programs and for giving those in existence a chance to improve. It’s been nice seeing quite a few Impact wrestlers in different circumstances and programs than I normally see them in. Reminds me of how in the old territorial days, you’d see some of the same wrestlers feuding in different areas but the “face” in one territory would be the “heel” in another

It of course was never mentioned when RW made the announcement, but WGN announces it before each show. It's basically an infomercial as far as WGN is concerned.

I may be mistaken but some one owns that time slot & uses Ring Warriors to fill it.. They own that block & sell commercial time during it... Ring Warriors provides the content during that hour in between the commercials.. In exchange they get a modicum of financial compensation for that content.. The owner of that hour can put any programming they desire to fill that block...

Well for the next couple of weeks it is MASH, so either the owner lost that time period or moved or changed.

Maybe because they will streamed on Amazon Prime, so they stopped going on WGN?
Now, to bring the Thread back to the Crockett Cup, I wish NWA will also able to bring International Stars into the Cup, just like Crockett Cup of the old. I would love to see team like Joe Doering and Dylan James, the winner of this year's AJPW Real World Tag League, or The Violent Giant of Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa, the winner of last year's AJPW Real World Tag League, or The YoshiKen Team of Kento Miyahara and Yoshitatsu, or The Get Wild Takao Omori and Manabu Soya, or the infamous BIG GUNS of Zeus and The Bodyguard, or the Team of AJPW's promising youngsters Yuma Aoyagi and Naoya Nomura. Or if you want Junior Heavyweight International Team, the Evolution Team of Atsushi Aoki and Hikaru Sato will also be a perfect participant.
And not really "international". But I would also love to see the Team of Odinson and Mike Parrow, who participated in this year's AJPW Real World Tag League, to enter the Crockett Cup too. And Mike Parrow, of course we know him from his participation in the National Title Tournament during NWA 70th.

Crockett cup 04/27/19, Concord, NC. Looks like ROH will be partnering so maybe some NWA push on ROH tv.
