Paul is an outstanding third man! I am truly happy for him as he moves forward.

They are reporting the Adam Page vs PAC match is not going to happen at AEW’s Double or Nothing event next week due to creative differences (PAC not wanting to lose)
I hope it’s a work. The pre-fight build-up making the rounds has been intriguing for this match-up. If it’s not a work, it may be the 1st foul up for the new venture.

I’m happy for the guy. If people talk about AEW what’s the big deal? The NWA isn’t doing much just being a mid card angle in ROH.

Albeit Paul, Bryce Remsburg, Earl (I'm really older than Fred) Hebner, etc. I wish them all luck. They are all competent and enthusiastic third men in the ring. So far as what's relevant to this Board - - I think we have fair and competent Moderators. Let them be the referee.

Is this AEW wrestling board or NWA wrestling Board I am begining to feel confused I would have thought some of the AEW comments would have started under the “independents” section or maybe have a section of their own (like NWA, Impact! ROH, and WWE) but once someone starts the comments, I don’t see any harm in continuing the conversation. we’re all here just talking about one aspect or another of pro wrestling...IMHO: no harm, no foul...

Given the NWA title was contested at All In and the last NWA champion (Cody) is competing in AEW against his brother (sons of 3x NWA champion and booker Dusty) it seems reasonable to be interested in AEW on this board

Listen don't want the party to stop, conversation constructively perused is always fine. But you cant honestly believe AEW will be good for the NWA? So the days when the top Indy guys and gals would be facing Aldis are now over stateside unless the belt is being defended at ROH. There isn't a lot of guys let. Now New Japan, Lucha Underground, Pro Wrestling Noah and Lionsgate are companies NWA should be working toward building relationships with. Imagine Okada, Ibushi, Juice Robinson, Tanahasi all having a go at the NWA's biggest prize. Imagine the Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa competing for the NWA Tag Titles, and that's just from NJPW. You have Noah and all the amazing athletes and work horses tkk put on 5 star quality matches,
If we are talking exciting, You should watch some shows frm NJPW and NOAH. I'm sure you will agree.

Here’s the thing in ROH and NJPW (heck even AEW) the NWA title will be used as a mid card championship. Let’s be real winning the NWA title does nothing for Okada,Tanahashi or Juice. The ROH guys who went after Aldis or Cody had history with them.
Look at the Crockett Cup it felt like a throwaway ROH show.

Look at the Crockett Cup it felt like a throwaway ROH show. i disagree with this. I felt the NWA did an excellent job of pushing the show and ROH did as well. More than that, I truly enjoyed the show.

If you did you would see that they book storylines much in the same spirit the NWA used to. Plus traditon is big there so you would be surprised. You say it would be a mid card but I think it could be a co-mainevent.

I watch tons of NJPW and the NWA would be treated like a mid card title in Japan just like the RPW. ROH or CMLl titles are there.
