According to a WON (Wrestling Observer Newsletter) a number of sites have covered a possible wrestling war which from my understanding had been mentioned not to long ago.
Even though there are a handful, I'll just a small portion of it but if anyone is interested in the actual article, I just added a link to the Forbes site.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc) noted plans call for WWE to air NXT on Wednesday evenings, 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST. The counterprogramming move will pit NXT against AEW's weekly television show, rumored to be called Revolution, that airs this fall.
WWE's anticipated announcement, while controversial and dripping with drama, should come as no surprise given its recent counter-programming strategies, not to mention the always competitive bona fides of Chairman Vince McMahon.
Talk of NXT to FS1 has been subject to rumors dating back to last year when WWE signed a billion-dollar television rights deal with Fox. The emergence of AEW, however, has given way to more counter-programming from WWE. As AEW prepared to officially announce its TNT debut last month, talk of NXT premiering opposite AEW became much more serious. In addition to rumblings of NXT possibly moving to FS1, WWE also reportedly plans on featuring main roster talent on the hip developmental brand.
Though NXT exists—and is presented as—a subsidiary brand to WWE, WWE will certainly enter a Wednesday Night War with guns blazing. The only thing Vince McMahon hates more than a coherent storyline is losing, and any semblance of competition brings about that very possibility.

Here's the report from Meltzer:
While not announced, the NXT on FS 1 is tentatively set for 8-10 p.m. on Wednesday nights. For obvious reasons, that was the time slot expected but this was the first info we were given listing a time slot. Of course it wasn’t going to be finalized until TNT announced the time slot. Not sure when this starts or how Big East basketball on FS 1 affects this, or what this means for NXT on WWE Network, or what the start date will be. It’s not official until the announcement is made but this has been expected and as noted a few weeks ago, it’s far enough along that FOX told some affiliates already.
The working idea is for a live two hour show with the feeling that a taped show will not work to head-off AEW. Where WWE feels they have the edge is they have an endless supply of main roster talent they can shuffle in whenever they want them.
