Are we allowed to discuss Scott Steiner here? I know his critics are very opinionated and the guy has been controversial everywhere he goes. Does he have anything to contribute to the current NWA brand? Opinions?

Scott Steiner brings name value. I hope he sticks around more. He usually also brings a torch to burn the bridge with. Aside from name value im not sure he has much left to give. The pre "Poppa Pump" Steiner was a world class athlete, All American amateur wrestler, and exciting performer but most of that went away when he got to "pumped up" and broken down to be mobile. In the later part of his career he has stayed relevant more for his controversies than anything else. After saying all that, ive been a fan in the past and if done right i can be again. He may be able to contribute to the show if his in ring work is kept limited and he can keep with in the limits of controversy on the mic. Either way its being talked about and causing a small buzz, as long as it doesnt turn into the Cornette kind of buzz. Just my humble opinion.

I'd give him 8 weeks. Come out next week and talk, do the six man tag whenever they're planning on doing it, squash a few enhancement guys and be Aldis' muscle, put over a face on TV and ride off into the sunset. He can't bump anymore but he still has great size for his age and can cut a promo. He's good for interest.

Can cut a promo??? He ranks right behind Sid in bad promos.
I was a big fan of Scott Stiener but hated Big Papa Pump

I really rate him as a promo guy. He can only really do one promo (Angry and threatening) but he does it well.

He flubs his lines and tends to make as much sense as the Ultimate Warrior.

Good for interest to bring in some unexpected names for short programs and hope they bring a few new viewers with them. With the recording schedule as it is it shouldnt be too difficult to get a months worth of storyline in one night.

I'm not a big Steiner fan. It wasn't always that way.

I'm in the short term camp on this. He's good for name recognition and getting a new guy over.
Drake would be my bet.

You know, there's a rumour about why Ken Anderson no showing in Hard Times was because Billy get upset knowing that Ken will be booked for TNA Reunion Show. And now Scott Steiner also will be booked for TNA Reunion Show. I wonder if Steiner will be dissapeared from NWA.
