I love how Fred has been answering behind the scenes questions about the NWA, so I decided to create a post where I and others could ask Fred things we always wanted to know.
What was the NWA's deal with the WWE? Why were they allowed to use the brand on the Network?
Also I heard a rumor about the NWA doesn't own the NWA trademark in Japan and that's why Zero-One can still have NWA titles?
Lastly you know I want to know more about the TNA/NWA drama, but I'm curious about the NWA's beef with CMLL that launched Blue Demon's phantom promotion.

With a hand of friendship and all due respect to Khris, I'm going to follow dkm's lead.
Yes, please do feel free to post any and all questions. When the interview happens, I will address them candidly.

My question for Fred is about ancient history but ill throw it out anyway. Curious about the shoot/ no contest ending of Corino/ Hashimoto resulting in the title being held up. As the 3rd man in the ring and his position at the time in the NWA, very interrested in Freds take and how that booking came about.

To this day. that is one of the matches I shall never forget. The answer is complex as several issues were running concurrently that day. To be continued...

Hey Fred what happened with Zero-One and the NWA? I know you were involved with Z1, so why did the relationship sour?

Hey Fred what happened with Zero-One and the NWA? I know you were involved with Z1, so why did the relationship sour? Khris - -I guarantee you that the multi-part answer to your question will inform and fascinate you. I'm waiting for dkm or Jay to schedule the interview. Teaser: Under the late Shinya Hashimoto (and, later, Yoshiyuki Nakamura), Zero1 was pledged to be a MAJOR partner in revitalizing and growing the National Wrestling Alliance. One person 'effed that all up. Stay tuned...

Here’s something I never got and maybe Fred can answer this. Wouldn’t it been smart for the NWA to have footage of every major title change?

I don't know if you guys ever crossed paths (I'm sure you probably did) but any good stories about Bert Prentice? Seems like a pretty decent promoter and I enjoyed his Ozark Mountain Wrestling promotion but have heard he was quite the character.

I will go into detail during the interview. For now, I will say Bert got a few bum raps, IMO.

Have heard the stories about him but whatever personal life he lives, he runs an entertaining family friendly show that you can take your kids to and not worry about obscenity or over the top violence.
