The NWA has said nothing, Aldis said in a recent interview that he would conservatively say they will start back up in "the Spring". Last time they said that it took 18 months longer. And here, now, is the problem. Here, now, is the reason that the brand's credibility is in the sewer. Hey, Pumpkin Smasher - - how about a straight answer? In other words, stop taking your remaining loyalists for a bunch of easy-to-con marks and tell the truth. I find it impossible to believe that you and/or any of your stooges (to most certainly include the California Flim Flam Man) have a legitimate business plan. Don't you get it, Billy Boy. Don't you see that there are still some NWA loyalists? Why are you incapable of candor? C'mon, prove me wrong.

Even if NWA Powerrr comes back a majority of the roster that were apart of the main storylines are gone, the lead up to the crockett cup main event is probably gone. It would literally need to be another restart. Granted we did have shows for the weekly ppv from UWN/NWA Shockwave which reset the champions, so a restart is about the only direction now.
It would be nice to have 10 lbs of Gold or something leading up to..... something....

Oh it would likely be a complete restart. Now I don't think they would have any problem finding wrestlers to start up storylines but yeah it would start over.

They have lost a lot of talent that was a main focus of the show. All they can do is start from scratch again, its a shame. Im sure Billy has a big ole garage somewhere he could have setup in to do some filming

I think at this point....while, YES it would essentially be a relaunch of the brand that MANY familiar NWA POWERRR faces would or rather likely could return but even for those who have gone on to sign with other, larger, non-compete kinda companies an NWA studio show...whether continued from the GPB Studios or say The Oceanview Pavilion maybe that includes THE NWA World's Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Nick Aldi's and Kamille with any luck and Joe Galli, David Marquez and I personally say enough time has passed....bring Corney back to replace the dunzo Wade Barrett or whatever name he was using? But with Aldis and the familiarity of Galli and Marquez and the same format....sure, they'll need to sign NEW talent and they'll need to start fresh with angles but I believe rather easily they have at least the potential to relaunch and relatively quickly regain that lost stature they'd built.
In so MANY, MANY, MANY ways it's apropos that an NWA studio show like POWERRR would only make it a short time as it did....given all the start ups and "national" tv tapings and the Showcase and the OG idea or format for NWA CWfH etc, etc, etc....Ive always enjoyed the NWA Pro/NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and the Aussie tour and the old NJPW LA Dojo and basically anything Dave Marquez has been behind. I know it was a lot different BUT I always enjoyed Bill Behrens TV products with Wildside and NWA Worldwide before it OR whatever MusicCityWrestling in Nashville became and then their Georgia "branch" w/ Behrens also portraying a character alongside Christopher Love HONEY or Bert Prentice HONEY!!! And the short lived NWA Pro EAST/LibertyStatesWrestling and HELL I just joined an IWCCW Facebook group! And if you can somehow he a fan of IWCCW then pretty much ANY Savoldi tv can pass....so NWA on FIRE was watchable in my opinion as well. BTW The Savoldi's are trying to sell/license the ICW/IWCCW video library to Highspots so be on the look out. And who could forget J.D. Costello's NWA Charlotte?!?!? What a GREAT series. And all the NWA Florida/RING WARRIORS stuff....EACH and EVERY endeavor listed was interesting, entertaining and good for the brand in its own right and EACH and EVERY endeavor failed to either gain traction or longevity OR those that were able to last weren't able to produce on the same level as to really establish a large audience or honestly benefit in any tangible way financially. What little exposure they did get didn't translate to $$$ at the Box Office.
Love him, Hate him, want to Smash his Pumpkin... opinion aside Billy Corgan was really, truly the first NWA promoter to truly get a lot of eyeballs on the product and maintain growth and consistency. I'd like to believe that when this is all said and done he'll bring the NWA back with the same fervor BUT I don't know Mr Corgan's stance on the future of the company....I'm not sure anyone, Nick Aldi's included, truly does. I will say that I likely agree with Mr Fred in saying that should Billy be throwing in the towel I'd MUCH RATHER see the brand laid to rest than end up back in the hands of a TOOTHY, SEQUINED, UNOFFICIAL OFFICIAL GREATER SOUTHWEST TEXAS VOLUNTEER SPOKESMAN FOR THE GOLDEN CORALE BUFFET....Pro-Bono naturally as most companies don't pay to tolerate an individual...No, I would rather the brand be laid to rest than end up in that jackass's hands OR honestly even a successful INDY promoter. I still believe Tony Givens to be one of the greatest INDY promoters in the modern independent wrestling era from the past 30odd years HOWEVER I wouldn't want to see even the likes of Givens gain control. If Billy is done.....maybe put together ONE FINAL tribute video, thank the fans, retire the 10lbs and honor Tim Storm and Nick Aldis with their own physical belts, if he can afford a second, in recognition of being his TWO Corgan era champions and call it a day.
Ideally the world would return to normal yesterday....but I was just listening to an interview with self-professed TinFoilHat enthusiast L.A. Marzulli this week and he said that he was under the opinion that Covid was practice for a World Wide Lockdown that will eventually come with.....O.K. I said TIN FOIL HAT so...bear with me here....ALIEN/UFO DISCLOSURE!!! Haha and they DID sneak that into the last Covid Relief Package!!! So...I'm not saying I BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN or that it was PRACTICE but I have always liked L.A. Marzulli and respected his passion for what he believes in. I'm just saying....It could get a whole lot worse BEFORE it gets any kind of better.
Oh, p.s. has anyone heard from Dody? I hope and prayer that wherever you are good brother that you're safe, sound and healthy.

I think an announcement is coming soon with Aldis numerous appearances on podcasts in the past month and the YouTube page deleting all the videos.
They lost talent to the pandemic, me too movement and now death, but yet I see more posts on social media about NWA Power than MLW and even Roh. People genuinely miss the show. A full year without shows and people still waiting for Power to return. There's still a big audience. Power was unique and different.
