Leave a comment if you'd like to explain why. I watch it every week on Fite TV because I love the NWA. I would also love it if they'd put out an official DVD of these episodes.

Watched it religiously on YouTube. Not paying to watch on Fite TV. Remember back in the day we'd watch wrestling at 6:05. We didnt pay for it, it was just "on TV". Now I get that its a business and they want to make money. But there has to be different ways to get it...

It was part of the basic cable package when I grew up. Yeah, it wasn't an over the air channel, so there was a cable package that was paid for.

I think you guys are missing the point: it was free on YouTube. Now they are charging as being a part of Fite . What has improved over the past that would be like, “OK, NOW it’s worth paying to watch..” especially if I’m only interested in the NWA show and nothing else? Disney + is 5 bucks a month but look what you get for that 5…
Forget the NWA/6:05 analogy. I watched ECW for free over the air every week. Their product was something that made me watch. The pandemic brought everything to a halt, but you have to start from scratch and build it AGAIN and then charge me to watch…. Not get my 5 bucks out of the gate with no long term story going on right now. PS what ever happened to Marty Scurl?

Yes, mainly because I've been doing a Japanese blog series titled "Still following the NWA". PS what ever happened to Marty Scurl? He was one of those accused during the #SpeakingOut movement last year was let go by ROH.

Marty actually admitted to it. He is nasty
I knew the free shows on YouTube would not last. Not when you using that caliber of talent. These are former WWE,TNA,etc. wrestlers that are not local.

I have said many of the same things myself about people having to pay for the shows. I pay for the subscription, but many others will not. I kind of think that the practice is short sighted. Sure, they will see income revenue for the current shows, but the practice will hinder expanding the fan base for people who will want to attend the shows when they start putting out more live shows again in the future. There are too many promotions putting out free content. Existing fans such as myself might pay, but most casual fans aren't going to pay for a product where there are so many promotions putting out free new content. I don't think that Scurll has wrestled since his ROH time. His match against Nick Aldis for the NWA World heavyweight title was amazingly good.

Njpw never put out a free product and they help roh sell out MSG.
If Power was presenting must see tv, the fans will come in huge numbers.

Didn’t NJ have a show on Axis at one time? How new was that? I think it was dubbed by Jim Ross…

The axs stuff was old content as well.
The NWA is releasing Power matches on YouTube. I don't know why they waited so long.
