Certainly not. Who, then, might you deem it to be? ?? Who has the belt me or you? Do the math Actually, I have several NWA belts. As you should know, more than one for each title was manufactured (you did know that, didn't you?). Accordingly, the "math" is 2 + 2 + 4. Or 3 + 3 + 6. Woo!!!

Perhaps ( ) you loosely refer to the NWA Premium title accurately described thusly: Awarded as the first champion for winning the annual "Himatsuri" (Fire Festival), defeating Satō Kōhei in the final; the belt originally created for "NWA Pan-Pacific Premium Heavyweight Title"; ZERO1 leaves NWA in 11/10 but continues to recognize its own "NWA" champions. Most NWA aficionados know that Japan's ZERO1 company injected new life into the once-tired brand. Gas??? Try Beano!

Gee, Stevie, - perhaps I did have gas at that moment. Some Japanese cuisine - - the authentic kind you have to be in Japan to savor - can do that to you. Japan is magnificent. I hope you make it over one day. NWA meant something there. Sayonara, Steverino!

I know it was your dream to own the NWA but you can start your own independent Company I will use the words of the Beatles song please "Let It Be, Let It Be, Just Let It Be". Bye Freddie

Steve,
My dreams came true - - perhaps yours will, too. Like any honest human, there were a few minor nightmares along life's road - but that's the cost of "being a player," Steve. All you need to do is shed the gimmick and muster the tenacity to chase what you want.
"Own the NWA"? First, I did own 1/3 of it for a bit - I can still hear my broker, attorney and accountant laughing. Had a stake in three indies along the way - - it was all fun - - at the moment. Watching the "infected" take chump-change yields seriously and digging into their rent and grocery money to pay for the venue. Attending the scores of "television tapings" that never once made it on the air. Seeing the silly, sophomoric attempts at sabotage between "companies" that were lucky if they drew enough to pay the attendant in the men's room. What folly!
NWA ownership was a true "handful of air." Some (you?) insist on hanging on to things that are best interned in an old chest up in an attic where memories are oft-enshrined. Rose-colored glasses do little to fog out truth. Winners mitigate and move on; never looking back at "what could have been."
I took from "the business" what I chose to take from the business - - and made some everlasting friendships and accrued many great experiences along the road. I apologize for nothing. It was fun - - but all good things come to an end, Steve. Life marches on, and I wouldn't have it any other way, would you?
Successful people, content people, know when the train comes to the end of the track and don't run off the rails into oblivion.
Have a great holiday season, Steve.
Y'all come back now, y'hear!
Fred

Okay so like I wrote before let it be and let it go. Just seems to me you always bashing the NWA. You had shady two faced people that couldn't promote a condom commercial. If you don't like the product don't post plain and simple.

Steve, Steve, Steve, "Bashing" the NWA??? Sharpen your reading comprehension skills, old bean. I always have and will always want the NWA to shine again. My critique of the current owner is based upon personal observation, it is not a wholesale indictment. Mr. Corgan has very deep pockets. Not as deep as McMahon's or Khan's, but deep, nevertheless. Corgan also has a "celebrity" in himself. Has he ever injected that "celebrity" to draw interest/audience? Hell no. Notwithstanding, the business acumen of ROH/Sinclair in "pausing operations" is a salient acknowledgement that the hill-of-competition with the major two is excruciatingly steep - - perhaps insurmountable. Does that mean "give up"? It shouldn't, IMO. But without regularity-of-promotion - - you do not have a brand. Piggybacking on another company's card is not promotion designed to create a public market. And, yes, Hell yes, I slam the hell out of that. Corgan has some capable talent - Aldis, Storm and a handful of others. But few knows who they are, if you dare to be honest. I have always believed that, handled right, Tim Storm could be built into today's "Working Man" Dusty Rhodes. (Although he needs some remedial training on stick skills) You have zero credibility to rag on people who had ownership of the brand and then segue into a scolding of me or anyone else, Steve. You know nothing about what really went on among NWA owners, do you? I do from the Brody-era onward because I had a vested stake-in-the-game (as in "ownership"). Isn't that a fact, Steve? Yes, it damn sure is. BTW, I was also custodian of the original documents/minutes (as they exist) of the NWA dating from its founding in 1948. You opened this thread with "I'm back Bitches" or some silliness to that effect. You are not the greatest U.S. Champ any more than I was the greatest NWA Ref. Furthermore, you are just a person who chose to try and cut a promo on a fan message board and suffered a bruise to your ego when it was responded to in a manner you didn't fancy. So here it is, Steve. Plain and monosyllabic. I will say what I choose to say, when and where I choose to say it. I will share non-confidential info about items of NWA history that accrued during my watch as an insider when and if I choose. I know most of the lyrics to "Let it Be," Steve. Here's my response to your musical message: Attachments:
