I wish I was posting better news... Earlier last year, I managed to run down Stanley Hetz. For a long time NWA Fans, Stanley used to be a regular contributor to the old National Wrestling Alliance website. Titled the "Hetz Zone" Stanley was a life-long pro NWA fan. He was a huge Aldis fan. I remember, discussing with him how bitter he was because of the actions of Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana, when they left the Ten Pounds of Gold in Australia. I really valued Stanley's friendship, but I hadn't heard from him in some time. Unfortunately, a google search gave me the bad news. www.findagrave.com/memorial/229786970/stanley-m-hetzStanley, you were gone too soon.

I got to know Stan over the many years I was active in the NWA. A better guy, a truer fan, a more staunch advocate, did not exist.
Stan's love for the NWA was genuine. He and I both valued "tradition;" although we both acknowledged it had become only a word in the dictionary.
Tragically, Stanley Hetz was robbed out of the best years of his life that had yet to come.
Rest in Peace, Stan.
