Billy Corgan purchase minority ownership but neither Corgan or Dixie owns the TNA name anymore. Strange turn of events.

They signed Moose and Final Deletion match was a major hit/positive for them.

Yeah I don't know what final deletion was other than WWE stole the idea for the Wyatts and New Day (but I haven't watched RAW yet)

Personally, I hope TNA can figure out a way to stick around. More alternatives the better. I really am not watching any major promotion, with the exception of WWE's NXT. Everything else has kind of fallen by the wayside. But if TNA fails... the wrestling scene doesn't get better, it gets worse.

They have good production and even good talent but the booking sucks. They need to model themselves after NXT.

I think modeling themselves after a rival company is what's handcuffed their success for so many years. I think they need to do something different. I am not sure how they can be different, but they haven't had a lot of success thus far.

Rumor has it Lucha Underground is about to be on Netflix and touring according to a deleted Vampiro facebook post by accident. Court Bauer said there's even bigger news on the way that will make LU number 2 from a financial standpoint but who knows. Being different helped that company.
As for TNA, they remind me of Paragon Pro Wrestling. Watch Impact and then watch Paragon Pro Wrestling on Fite Tv. PPW have half the budget that TNA does and the product looks literally the same.

But I also think Dixie Carter listening to Hulk Hogan and Eric Bhishoff is what handcuffed them! Then her wanting to be a TV Character has kept the slide going.

I heard that Billy Corgan is the new TNA president. Is that real or storyline?
Also I heard they may fade out TNA in favor of Impact Wrestling.

Don't know but he is a better business man and KNOWS entertainment. TNA announced that their World Title and King of the Mountain belts were getting merged into a Grand Championship title. And they are using a form of MMA rules now.

From what I've heard, the original plan was to just have a unified word title. The belt originally said World on it.
Don't know what the current plan is but it sounded like they are going to have a tournament.
