Crockett cup 04/27/19, Concord, NC. Looks like ROH will be partnering so maybe some NWA push on ROH tv. Let us hope so!

Right now in light of AEW, ROH needs to fill the hole, NWA can do that, its symbiotic, they both get something out of the deal. The question of who will screw who is inevitable, two companies can't peacefully coexist forever.

Great to see tag team wrestling brought back to the spotlight. Seems to have been far less pushed in the modern era. Long gone are the great teams and fueds of R and R Express, Midnight Express, Road Warriors, Steiners, Andersons, and the many other legendary teams of bygone eras. Maybe this will be a great way to spotlight and push future greats. Agreed, the Briscoes should be prominent in the tournament. Perhaps the best team of the last decade in my opinion.

Stunning Steve- this is exactly why I stopped coming to this forum. I haven’t been on here for many months. Just popped on to see if things have changed- nope! Still the bitter old man trashing the NWA every chance he gets. JCAL good luck on this forum. I use to read this way back since 97. Still the same shit.
Check some of your members. They as in Fred Richards makes it impossible to even enjoy this. You have an NWA forum and in that forum you have poison within this forum who trash the promotion every chance he gets.
Good luck man. I gave it another shot and I’m done.
Plenty of other ways to find out news about NWA elsewhere without the negativity of a bitter old man

I think that he was kicked out of the Tharpe group due to his mouth.

I think what makes this board unique is that I've never once pigeon-holed anyone into only having positive takes. Fred is entitled to his opinion, much like you are. Are you going to convince Fred that the NWA is doing good business, probably not. But Fred won't convince me that they aren't. Its the dialog in between is where we gain foresight. With that being said, the main site is more news than editorials, so I hope you continue to check that out.

Parrow was my pick to win the National Championship, I always feel like the drawback to international talent is people the casual wrestling fan never knows them, and dont react to them in the ring. So as there is no weekly showcase to build up or at least introduce these teams they need more well known North American teams, which is a shame but I think they will be more successful.

Does anyone has the name of the arena the Crockett Cup will be at? Cabarrus Arena.
I've been to several ROH shows there, as well as several independent wrestling shows in the arena. It's a very nice arena, WWE has ran two NXT shows there in the past. It has one large arena, as well as several smaller buildings that they could run in.
The first time ROH ran there they ran in one of the smaller buildings and packed it out. When they ran the second time(Roderick Strong's final ROH match), they ran in the large arena and they may have filled it to 25 percent capacity if they were lucky. I didn't go last year when they returned, so I don't know which building they ran in. They are running a show there again this weekend, but I don't know which building they are running.
