That belt sucks. I told JP my favorite titles he did for the NWA was the Junior title and the North Armerican title.

Was hoping it would be Santana winning but logic dictated putting it on Allisyn. She’ll be a good heel champ.
I’m still praying that Tessa can be contracted to hold that title sooner rather than later. IMO, she’s the best active female wrestler working today

I was hoping Corgan would put it on Santana - - she is outstanding.
Oh well, his chattel - - his choice.
And so it goes...

I was hoping Corgan would put it on Santana - - she is outstanding. Oh well, his chattel - - his choice. And so it goes... I like Santana as well, I just did not feel like the match went well. Just seemed like "going thru the motions" on some parts. Not knocking either of the women, I like the work of both of them. Just seemed like it was either rushed or just not flowing well

Just seemed like it was either rushed or just not flowing well Despite their being two talented performers, styles do make the match. I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard that these two had faced one another before. The change in the card was at the eleventh hour. May have just not had much preparation time. If they have a rematch, as you’d think would be appropriate, let’s hope it’s as stellar as their abilities would dictate.

There are lots of reason as to why people are pick as champions over others, lots of things behind the scenes. Don't over think things just watch and enjoy.

Hopefully we will see more women's matches with different women. There are plenty of talented women out there that can put on a good show. I would hope PWX would have a working relationship with them so we could have some more shows in NC again

I don't really keep up with women's wrestling so i don't really know where (if anywhere) Allyson Kay has been wrestling since leaving Impact.

I know she was dealing with an injury before requesting her release. I believe her tenure in Impact goes back to the TNA days where Corgan was involved (can’t say for certain) which may be where Corgan & Lagana’s interest in seeing her represent their brand as champion began. I’m certain there are dozens and dozens of promotions that run shows that simply get no media attention/reporting so she may may have Ben working non-stop or she may have simply been healing/training in the time between the 2 promotions.
It will be interesting to see if The NWA invests time/effort into vignettes for her opponents as they’ve done with Aldis’ and the 10 lbs of Gold series

Allysin Kay had been very active in SHINE previous to winning the NWA belt. She is the current SHINE champion, having won the title in May

Allysin is a fantastic heel and did some great work in Impact, I did like her match during the Mae Young Classic as well

To answer the question, the champion works with Shine where she's champion and has worked a few matches with Shimmer lately. Not a lot of activity with the belt.
