Eli Drake has revealed on social media that he’s a free agent and taking bookings.
id love to see a series of matches between Aldis and Drake for the title across several promotions (including ROH TV!). I think Drake has a great look, excellent promo skills and could truly “sell” a feud with Aldis. Drake isn’t a “flappy” style or hardcore style sports entertainer. He comes across much more grounded, has a great physique, and is an excellent talker in the old school style most NWA fans appreciate (much like Austin Idol back in the day)
i think it it would be a great match up! Book it Corgan!

I worked in-ring with Eli during the short Ring Warriors run. I know him to be a great professional who knows the moves and is in great physical condition.
Most important, Eli Drake knows how to work the crowd.

This is one of those deals that I think would either be great or terrible. Drake and Aldis have a lot of the same positives. They have size. They have strength. They both can cut a promo to sell a show. But would this be a case where they mirror each other too much?

While you raise a valid point, this is the responsibility of the promotion and it's booker/agent. The best talent in the world isn't worth a tinker's damn without proper booking.

Well at least initially we’re seeing Drake and Aldis teaming (at least for ROH’s Best in the World). I’m just happy to see Drake back on TV. The guy is too talented to not be prominently seen in main events in an established promotion.
Now get him in the ring with Taven and let him win that gold!
