Great feedback on Pearce vs Aldis conversation so how does Aldis rate as a champion vs Conway. Conway also a 2 time champ, defended internationally and traveled consistently with the belt. Probably suffered more than Pearce as far as level of competition but had some shinning moments. I liked Rob as champion and he is the defining champ of the Tharpe era. Represented with respect and had many good, a few great matches. I personally feel Aldis has already eclipsed Conways reigns as far as visibility, work rate, and level of competition.

Conway looked like a champion, travelled the world like a champion and had the name value. But it didn't "feel" like he was the NWA champion. I'd compare his reign to the Mike Rapada-Steve Corino period. After the initial excitement of Dan Severn having the belt and before TNA putting it on the big stage it was in that real indy period. Conway, Jax and Storm are the same way. For me Aldis is the best NWA champion since Flair in 93

I am loving Aldis as the champion currently. I did not really see the champions from the previous era on his level of presence and presentation.
