With the news that NWA Tag team champions the Rock n Roll Express are presenting the AEW belts to their new champions, does anyone think this could be an invasion angle? Young Bucks or some other cosplay wrestlers win and Jim Cornette comes out with a tennis raquet and they clean them out?

Given their history with Cody it could be possible but if Cornette has any say im sure the Bucks will not be involved.

Cornette will work with people he doesn’t see eye to eye if he feels it can be good for business... see the Heyman-Coraluzzo summit he brokered, or even his ECW stint. He hated extreme wrestling, but it was a hot angle...

Here we are with Howard Brody at a card held at the Ft. Lauderdale, FL National Guard Armory some years back.

Well, let's be realistic folks.
Like it or not, at this point the NWA is more or less a glorified indy. Do you think an invasion into the second biggest, and the hottest promotion in the world today will taken seriously by the AEW crowd? Unless you want another WWE - NWA Invasion in 1998 or bruce tharpe invade NJPW angle again, there will be nothing to gain for both the NWA and AEW.

The Bucks aside, could be alot of interesting angles if they partnered up but I don't see it happening.

The RnR's are just there to collect a check while the getting's good. I doubt their status as NWA champions will even be mentioned. Especially since the win hasn't aired yet. No idea on when this AEW thing is supposed to go down to be honest. I don't watch their show.
