Im interested with this. Looking forward to see the talents who will participate.
With that being said, seeing the term of the contest, does it means the NWA more emphasis in mic skills than in ring work?

I don't like the idea of wrestling being presented like X Factor.
I don't want to hear some college kids shouting "well you know something Mean Gene" down a microphone, I want to see what the NWA is doing so far which is fighters talking about their upcoming matches.

Still undecided. I generally hate "reality contest" shows but we will see how it plays out. Could be a good opportunity for undiscovered talent.

This is literally how nxt started. Aaa had recent success with a similar idea. UFC went from almost going out of business to a $4 billion because of a similar idea. Talent searches work

The thing that separates this from say Though Enough, is that they are seeking talent already in the business. Between WWE (and it's brands) New Japan, Impact, Ring of Honor, MLW, there are less and less spotlights on unsigned talents. Marquez has a wealth of talent at CWFH, but who knows if that translates to anything with the NWA.
I like the idea. Since day one Lagana has been about documenting the process. Here's a chance. I'm curious, do you think some talent out there take this opportunity because it's beneath them?

I'm curious, do you think some talent out there take this opportunity because it's beneath them? I assume you mean won't take this opportunity and I suppose it is possible but I think the most likely reasons are wrestlers are content in there current situation or don't think it will do them any good in the long run. Nobody wants to be one of the first to fail and be made fun of because that won't help at all.

What's the risk-reward ratio? If they fail out of the gate, who will even remember? But if they catch lightning in a bottle, what if the NWA fan base takes a liking to one of these guys. I don't know, in a game where opportunities are far and few in between, why not? You have to risk something to get to the next level. Becky Lynch slept in the Inoki Dojo for a while trying to find her big break.

Fast forward to now and we have two television shows that will be airing. Guess people are never happy.
