Really enjoyed it. The storylines are really starting to come together.
Aldis and the Wildcards came together naturally and believably like the Horsemen.
Shooter Stevens is classic NWA heel material.
Tim Storm perfect in his role as Dusty Rhodes style underdog. As is Trevor Murdoch in a similar way.
Great booking. So much better use of storytelling and old school angles than AEW. I watched that tag match between Kenny Omega and Page against the Lucha Bros and really outstayed it’s welcome. Just 25 minutes of flips, running the ropes and dives.
NWA has brought back realism. That promo between Aldis and Storm was legit the most realistic exchange I’ve heard since the 1980s era Flair-Steamboat. The successful arrogant heel and the simple family man. No need for flips and gymnastics

Enjoyed this episode. Aldis cutting great heel promos. In ring matches well booked and story lines advanced. Looks like an angle building with Stevens and Murdoch that has potential. Put the National title on Murdoch, he would be a good fit as champ. He has the pedigree, experience, name recognition, classic look and ring style, as well as the Harley Race connection.

Wasn't a great week in ring but thoroughly enjoyed the angles especially Aldis and Storm. Storm gives off a very "Rocky Balboa" type of story whilst Aldis is like an Apollo Creed.

I do like the idea of not having the World title defended weekly, how often did Hogan defend the WWF title years ago? It gives the big fight feel the belts used to give off. With a TV title I think this can build to something special. The IC and US Title used to be the stepping stone for the next contender or someone who can get the next title shot. I do not recall the last time those belts were held in that capacity. At least what AJ Styles has been doing with the US title recently built up the belt again.

Taking into account that the titles in the NWA currently are maybe defended on average once a month (Except for the World) it could be a breath of fresh air to see weekly or bi weekly NWA World TV Title matches and title changes on Powerrr. I'd like to see them either keep the 6:05 time limit or go to a 10:00 minute time limit as per tradition also. I'm still trying to work out who I'd like to win it. It's a fun tournament with a lot of interesting characters. Zicky Dice has really won me over despite being a character I thought was a bit cringe at the start.

I kinda like the 6:05 time limit. Didnt think i would but makes for good tv matches in our short attention span existence but would be ok with the traditional 10 min. Im also digging the Zicky Dice character. Reminds me of Diamond Dallas Page circa 1988.

NWA Powerrr just keeps getting better and better each week. Character development is a huge deal and Lagana/Corgan seem to be on a right path. They only have an hour a week to deliver and they have as many people on as well as a few good matches as well. Powerrr is my second favorite wrestling program next to NXT.
I tend to fast forward through RAW and SD.

Powerrr is what brought me back to wrestling. I despise everything WWE, and I agree with Cornette that AEW is just a outlaw show that found a money mark to up it's production values.
Powerrr is faithful to the old GCW format. I hope Corgan & Lagana's 20 year plan includes franchising old NWA territories such as Memphis, Mid-South and Central States. I believe those areas have fan bases that would support it.
If they ran Powerrr on Tuesday nights as the main show and then presented territory shows in their traditional time slots (Saturday mornings or Saturday nights) they could develop more talent and provide more places for the boys to work regularly.
