"Just take their money."
So Fuller pays to promote the brand and the brand gets the benefit. "We did it!"
I'm familiar with one of these two. I refused to take their money and let them in at the time.

Wrecking Ball Wrestling just adds to my opinion that Trevor Murdoch should be NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Good to see a promotion in Georgia as well. Know nothing of either so they might not be of quality but happy to be proven wrong.

Love that name wrecking ball wrestling As do I, although the last thing I think of with the term "Wrecking Ball Wrestling" is old school traditional wrestling which the NWA mostly tries to promote. Sounds like a promotion that would be filled with hardcore matches and big brawlers just destroying one another.

Go look them up, to be proud of those promotions joining is just embarrassing. I guess the excitement of their licence fees is too much to contain.

Wrecking Ball Wrestling I just checked out on Facebook and their top guy looks like Bill Demott (Not a bad thing) and they use some pretty high end talent such as Jessy Sorenson, Davey Richards, The War Machine from ROH and even our own Damien Wayne. Their main title is a WWE World Heavyweight Title replica belt though (Big gold) and their posters need a lot of work. No idea how their locals look apart from Bill Demott Jr.
Syndicate Pro Wrestling seem to use just local guys but seem to have some kind of local TV show which would lead you to assume they've got some decent locals. They also seem to promote boxing or MMA or some kind of other form of martial arts.
Both are former members of AIWF which I hear has no entry requirements so these companies could be decent or completely terrible.

Wrecking Ball Wrestling just adds to my opinion that Trevor Murdoch should be NWA World Heavyweight Champion. I don't remember too much about Murdoch except he was in WWE and was trained by Harley Race. What are your thoughts. Murdoch didn't even pop in my mind as a suggestion for World Champion until a few months back when myself, Shawn and some others were discussing it on another board. You're correct, he had a four year run in WWE mostly teaming with Lance Cade and they won the WWE World Tag Team Titles two or three times but he is also one of Harley Race's most successful students and hasn't forgot where he came from. He returned to Harley Race and WLW in January 2015 and now wrestles there as the WLW Heavyweight Champion (A belt he's held 5 times) and helps out with the training school due to Harley Race being too old to get into the ring and bump around these days. He also recently opened up his own training school in Kansas City with another Harley Race graduate so he seems dedicated to that part of the country. He's also got a NWA National Championship match this month for NWA Mid West and is central to a lot of NWA promotions due to his geographical location which would mean promotions in Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Ohio etc could book him for a relatively cheap flight. In Missouri itself you have NWA Central States which plays host to the NWA Missouri Heavyweight Title. They run about two hours away from where WLW runs but from what I've seen they're kind of struggling to pull a crowd currently. They've tried using Bobby Eaton as a semi regular in a commissioner role or what have you but it hasn't worked and they're now using one off guys like Tony Kozina who is wrestling for them this month who might offer a good match but probably won't change their fortunes around. My idea would involve Bruce Tharpe approaching the NWA Central States promotion and dropping them the idea of booking Trevor Murdoch and building him up for the next six months (They run every two months so that's only three bookings). Murdoch is a natural heel so I'd have him tear through NWA Central States and capture the NWA Missouri Heavyweight Title. With Wrecking Ball being about 5 hours away in Kansas City you could then have them start bringing Murdoch in and headlining THEIR shows with the Missouri Heavyweight Title. Of course you have Murdoch manage to beat everyone in that company as well and you have Bruce Tharpe (Yes, I'd use him in this circumstance on the phone or in a pre-record) that he's been hearing great things about Murdoch so he's sending the World Heavyweight Champion to NWA Central States to wrestle Murdoch. Of course on that same weekend Wrecking Ball could use the champion as well to make it all more cost efficient. In that situation I'd have Murdoch beat Dane (Or whoever is champion) for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. He'd have two home NWA promotions to book him and I'm sure Harley Race would allow NWA World Heavyweight Title matches to headline his shows considering Murdoch is his top guy right now and they run twice a month so in total you'd have at least 3-4 title matches a month in Missouri alone and Murdoch is a big enough name to get bookings in other NWA territories and "outlaw" promotions as well. Murdoch would of course cheat to beat the World Champion so down the road you could have the champion come back and wrestle Murdoch to a draw/count out/time limit draw etc and come back for a third and final match for the World Title. No disqualification in which Murdoch and the former champion beat the living hell out of one another and you have the former champion topple Murdoch with a year or so of build. So before this becomes a novel (Too late, haha) you'd use Murdoch's name value to try and improve NWA Central States but even if he couldn't you still have a guy who seems willing to teach the younger guys. As the biggest modern star to come out of Missouri you'd add value to the NWA Missouri Heavyweight Title by having him hold it and having the World Heavyweight Champion defend monthly in your promotion could add value to your company. Depending on the types of matches these local promoters booked you could really get a lot of hype going in wrestling circles and Murdoch can wrestle pretty much any style. Negatives are the cost but honestly I can't see Murdoch charging over a few hundred dollars for an indy appearance and NWA Central States would have to pay no transport fee or hotel fee. Wrecking Ball in Kansas may have to pay a hotel fee (Five hour drive one way) but still a 400-500 dollar investment isn't that much for a guy like Murdoch. Sorry for the novel but it's amazing to me that the NWA (Or Central States itself) hasn't jumped on this and tried to make it happen.
