Years ago we included "Wonderful Willy" into the HOF, but he wasn't able to attend the ceremony. Since then I've bumped into him countless times, but never had his award with me (mostly because I didn't know he was going to be at the same function), but this all changed yesterday at the Annual Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion, when I finally presented him with our version of the award. He was very thankful for me holding on to it all these years and was emotional. I was also happy to having the 5 times Worlds Champion present for the presentation.

What are your thoughts on HoF belts instead of HoF rings. I personally loved the belt Jim Ross got. I would love to see each NWA HoF inductee get a belt. Also I am not asking about your thoughts on Bruce Tharpe or the NWA in general just on the novelty of handing out belts instead of rings when honoring NWA legends.

Belts are nice, but rings are easier to display on you. Not many would see the HOF Belt IMO, it's a nice touch but it takes up a lot of space.

WWE, etc but not everyone has a HoF Title Belt.

I'd like the belt to be honest. Something for a display cabinet in JR's living room/office.

The issue is cost. We went with a medal for two reasons, first we knew the Iron Sheik would wear it everywhere (and he has) and second, the ring is what everyone else gets.

I personally think that HoF rings are played out. Just about every major sport HoF hands our rings. I know the cost for a high quality belt would be HIGH but I just love the idea and novelty.
