I'm going to use the WWE titles as an example but I more interest in general thoughts
Charlotte has been Diva's/Women's Champion for 281 days New Day has been Tag Champions for 309 days
During their reigns we have seen the following World Champions
Seth Rollins Roman Reigns Sheamus Roman Reigns Triple H Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Dean Ambrose
Do you feel in general that is good or bad for a "World" title?

I don't like the long title reigns unless they're interesting. I really liked some of Jeff Jarrett's title runs as NWA World Heavyweight Champion in 2005-2006 and I also enjoyed both JBL and Triple H when they would hold the title and always seemingly escape by the skin of their teeth. To me, it creates more drama if you know damn well that wrestler X could kick wrestler Y's ass but wrestler Y always has his lackeys or whatever to help him.
Never been fond of the long title run for a baby face unless that face can really show weakness and create drama. Cena and Hogan can both do it although if you look at Austin, Rock, Triple H (As a face) or even Hogan in WCW you always knew who was going to win most of their matches and it quickly gets boring. Goldberg during his title run was the same also.
To throw this back to the NWA, it's why I'm not fond of Dane as champion. Sure, he's been champion for ten months or whatever but who has come close to beating him or even created a match with some drama? Nobody. Therefore it gets boring.

injuries and creative direction play a role in the tile changes, would you have wanted to see Roman Reigns vs Sheamus for the biggest prize in the company and the biggest event of the year?
Sometimes the original plan is not the best one and they also have to change direction as well.

Charlie Haas had a really good story with Dane and I thought they might might hotshot. His feud with Tim Storm was good there were some that thought Storm might win the title.
I prefer there be some stability with the title.

Even though Haas blocked me on twitter, because of him putting down the NWA (almost a few weeks after being on my podcast to build up his match with Pearce for the NWA title) I think would be a good short-term interim NWA World Champion. He has name value (to a degree) and would be an interesting way to get the belt off of Dane without Dane looking weak.
