These aren't national commercials, and I heavily doubt they're local. They look amateurish at best. They don't meet the brand standards of Golden Corral. They don't match the current brand messaging. And even worse they're poorly.

These are just clips. If what I'm hearing is correct, he spent a day shooting many different takes. Those will be used to produce one or two final products.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if these are just local spots for the local market. I don't see how Bruce's charisma is going to sell any more dinners or that the NWA Name recognition will bring anymore customers to the Corral, but like I said good for him. If only the NWA had a Television Deal in place... these spots could air on their programming.

Jeff Foxworthy sells Golden Corral more than this fool. And when people look at these commercials what are people going to say, "who is this guy?" "the NWA is still around" Why does the National Wrestling Alliance have to be about Bruce Tharpe?

I still just don't get why a local store would waste their money on these spots. They've had the Jeff Foxworthy ones forever and he does a better job promoting the place.
I mean, what's with the fire effect? lol This isn't a Transformers movie production by any means! What was the commentary in the background is more entertaining. Was this you DKM filming the promo spots from your television?

Haven't logged in here for a very long time probably due to the lack of interest but just jumped on this am whilst the kids were eating their breakfast and saw this...I'm not familiar with the brand but this is too much.
Fair play, the belt in the commercial feels so wrong. To the public they might think Bruce is the champ! The thing is no one here knows whether it was a request to have Bruce or something wrestling NWA related so you have to take it for face value and believe that Bruce was asked to be the guy in the commercials and he is always going to do it.
All in all it just feels a bit dead around here, there are regional fans for the individual promotions but the feel around it all just doesn't seem to be there which is a total shame.
Look at the threads on this forum, they are started by you DKM and the only real thing that has made people talk is slagging Bruce off for this regional commercial. No one seems to give a hoot about the workers!
The Twitter page averages 3 favourites per post, the Facebook isn't much better.
What does it need? Strategy, marketing and money.
We left the NWA in February, since our departure we done something we never did in the events prior, sold out each room! It's more than likely a coincidence but focusing on our brand with a more clear and concise strategy has engaged the audience we are after and we take our next step with this by launching our weekly show this Wednesday.
My hope is for the NWA as a national entity to find their groove.
This isn't a knock on it, it's an observation, and to reiterate promotions within seem to be doing well on their own focused product which even more makes me wonder!

In HIS eyes, that's exactly what HE thinks. It is what HE believes. It is HIS spotlight and no one else's. It is HIS egomania manifesting itself over and over and over.
Via New Japan television, all who watched saw HIS amateurish attempts to steal the heat. We saw HIM jump into camera shots and cause important action to be fogged out. It is a matter of record. It happened. Perhaps it is why branded matches never made it to the main event - - like they routinely did in Zero 1.
Succinctly, a Championship belt belongs strapped around the waist of the Champion. It does not belong in a minor league television spot that has NOTHING, whatsoever, to do with Professional Wrestling.
