I thought Sabu work a NWA Smoky Mountain or NWA SAW show last year but I could be wrong?
I was listening to a podcast I think Pollock and Bauer but didn't Sabu suffer a lot of concussions?

I hope they'll do some kind of angle where Sabu ends up wrestling. I know he's way past his prime now but he's a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and a 7 minute match where he just does his spots and beats someone would be very cool. Card looking good. This is one of the first NWA events in awhile I've actually been interested in and I'd go out of my way for Kincaid/Owens, Haas/Dane and a Sabu match (If they give us one) I saw Sabu wrestle back in 2007 when he was fresh out of WWE. He main evented a show in front of about 500 fans and wrestled for around 7 minutes (My friend timed it). I'm curious if he's shortened his match time or if he's still around that time area. On that same card Gamma and Super Shenlong of Dragon Gate fame gave their all and outperformed Sabu big time. I want to say in the last 3-4 years I've seen Sabu wrestle twice. First against TJ Perkins where he got all of his shit in. But it was a very entertaining match. Secondly against B-Boy in a much shorter match, where Sabu tapped. 1) Sabu still draws in SoCal. But he's also had a bit of a career out here. He was an integral part of XPW. He was part of EPIC. He's been an occasional wrestler for AWS and he's worked a few other places in SoCal somewhat regularly. People love the guy for his ECW days. 2) His match with B-Boy ended abruptly. I'm not sure if he got hurt, didn't want to do the job, forgot the finish, or if the promoter needed to wrap it up. Fans were entirely disappointed in that one, but it felt like he'd be back... so who knows. Personally, I'd pay to see Sabu wrestle again. I really don't care against who either. He's a draw. Whenever he's in town, I'd pay to see him.

I don't know if Sabu will have a match, but I won't be surprised if he gets involved in some way.

Yeah Jay from what I remember of the 2007 match it kind of ended abruptly as well. To Sabu's credit he did all his spots including the facebuster through a table but it was pretty much a squash.
He did sign autographs for free after the show though and he was there for about 20-30 minutes signing anything so I guess I can't be too harsh on him.

Jason Kincaid vs Lio Rush from roh tv was great this week. Kincaid was over, continue to be the best in the Nwa.

From the IHWE Facebook:
"Due to circumstances beyond our control, Sabu will not be appearing at the NWA PARADE of Champions March 31st. We had taped promos with his name mentioned but he won't be appearing.
We apologize to any fans who were planning to meet Sabu.
Thank you."

I wonder how well Haas would get over as champion?
