Also if he really wanted to be a wrestler why start now?.. I may be wrong but it comes across to me as he has nothing else on his late & he craves the attention it brings him.. Why not?

WCW died when Hulk Hogan came in. David Arquette was no more ridiculous than Brutus Beefcake, The Yeti, Duggan, Honky and all the other WWF clowns Hogan brought with him. Arquette seems like a good guy and is serious about wrestling Correction WCW died when Crockett tried to hang with Vince and was forced to sell to Turner.

Persoanally, i HATED the WCW version of DA but I kinda like this version of DA cause he seems to have serious respect for Wrestling and is trying to learn. We should all respect that imo.

How does "he is really working hard" make him any different than any hard working unknown on the indies.
People only care about him, good or bad, because of his WCW days.

I would say more his hollywood career than wcw days. Its not that much different than again... Miz prior in the WWE. He was working at Ultimate Pro Wrestling (somewhat of a farm system). He was only known from his time on the Real World.

He is in movies, sure but how big of a crossover do you think there really is?
Without looking, what were his last 5 films?

I'm saying most wouldn't care about him being involved in wrestling today if not for his WCW days.

Without WWE was there any chance that happens? No....but I'm sure some tickets were sold and hopefully the card had some actual good matches and everyone leaves happy. I honestly have a bigger problem with Elsworths title shot than I do for David Arquettes appearance. Maybe I'm alone in that but that's just me

My comparison was a promotion cashed in on the Miz prior to his days in WWE development. By comparison, Arqutte is more seasoned than the Miz. Had UPW not taken a chance on the Miz, he might not ever made it to the WWE.
