Why they would be let go. Probably because Tharpe is butthurt that Throwback is not using NWA Classics?! Either way the NWA is a joke cause it's owner is a clown. You would think he would encourage all the promoters who pay him money to expand their markets and money streams.

Tharpe should send a memo out saying all NWA promotions should refrain from using legends because paying ten to see the legends in person could mess with Tharpe's bottom line.

Why do that when he can first collect the cash and then cut ties after 6-8 months while keeping the rest of the license fee.

Airing Parade of Champions on Fite app is irrelevant to this situation as the airing of current content on a Roku channel or social media is not the issue. The fact that they purchased a classic library from Japan and Europe is the contradiction.
Current, or relatively current NWA content airs on the Indie Wrestling Channel. Clearly, that is not the issue.
The largest issue seems to be that no promoters have control over the national titles, therefore utilizing the belts in angles in a regional promotion would be difficult without creative control over the belt. Additonally, this interferes with any attempt at a national brand television program not direct controlled by the president.
Lastly, in my opinion, if you're not a promoter within the alliance-quit complaining about the president and the lack of your perceived direction. Find a product that you enjoy and support them. If you are a promoter, make the organization better.

If you have a smart tv, one that connects to your wifi router, you can push the feed from your mobile device to air the shows on your television. As of this time they do not have a Roku or Fire TV app.

If you are a promoter, make the organization better. Hi Colby, Based on the message Chris received (and posted here) it didn't cite initially that the channel was the first conflict, he mentioned that in addition but never stated it was about the libraries just that there was a conflict because it's a streaming channel. It seems that the decision was made without real thought and understanding, if they contacted Chris and asked what libraries would be uploaded they could then make a real informative decision on their termination but the mention of the libraries never came about. Just to clarify on here who moans about the president apart from the fans/outsiders on here or other forums? In truth I couldn't give two fucks about what they do (but this forum can be highly entertaining to visit), for me it's an alliance in name but everyone does their own thing, does it have direction? You can ask yourself that question based on what you see or know. The classics is a specific library from Houston from a time period that lends itself to a very very niche audience, wrestling has changed massively over the decades and you have to move with the times. Maybe Classics has aspirations to grow but in its current incarnation it lends itself to the 100-200 subscribers of an era long gone. This is nothing I haven't said to Bruce direct so it's not bitching it's honesty. When wrestling for 10 to 30 year olds is majority the entertainment style widely on display via WWE (even check the characters alive in ROH, NJPW, TNA) a slow sluggish style is always going to be the niche within the niche. If chasing that niche within the niche makes business sense go for it. With hindsight it's shown it just doesn't pay the bills and that's coming from a mark of JCP (which I can now watch on the WWE network) A smart man once said to me since 2002 It's been the era of John Cena, that's 14 years! At our shows do you know how many John Cena shirts are worn in the crowd by the kids! It's nuts! Wrestling fans have changed, excite them, show them variety. I have respect for many of the NWA promoters and believe IF they pulled together in one direction it could make for an exciting force. Once again i told Bruce & James Beard my thoughts too. Am I right? I'm not sure it's just an opinion and that's all it is. 'Opinions are like Butt holes, everyone has one!' If you agree with my opinion or not it's no bother or worries that's your personal entitlement.

No phone call to discuss, even though the idea was pitched. Nothing but a Facebook messenger pink slip. Real leadership among men!
Let me start with the positives of my post. Throwback Championship Wrestling will return to Knoxville TV, and be added to Nashville TV as well. As well, as be a part of the launch of a full time wrestling Roku channel later this summer. I no longer have any restrictions. Because of the Roku channel announcement, I was removed from the membership of the NWA, via Facebook messenger. They cited it as a conflict of interest to the classic service that they offer online.
No where to go but up! More TV, more shows, and a huge show in Orlando next year during Wrestlemania week!
I'll again leave with this.
My quote of the night. "To have integrity in a brand, you have to have leadership, and assets. Without them, you only have a logo and a simple trademark"
