Interesting Fact: Stuka Jr is the current NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Champion, a title that is a lineal descendant of the once NWA Board controlled NWA World Light Heavyweight title. I had to actually look that belt up to remember it. Ah the good ole days when there was 150+ NWA belts

Ah the good ole days when there was 150+ NWA belts But at one time there were only 3 belts recognized by the NWA board and recognized by all promotions: NWA World Heavyweight Championship NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship

Anyone else disappointed that Reno Scum not in the tournament? In fact, CWFH conspicuously not represented at all.

Really enjoyed last nights show. Nick and Marty tore down the house and over delivered for sure! And that's not a bad thing at all. A lot of great moments last night.
Nice to see Magnum and Nikita again. Definitely got my monies worth for sure!

Shame Reno Scum doesn't represented at all. And to be honest, Im still dissapointed Heathseekers no longer involves with NWA again, regardless of the politics behind it, which is shame.

Considering Corgan’s close association of late with CWFH, I agree.
It has me wondering if ROH will allow Brody & PCO to defend on CWFH/CWFA TV or if, like Cody’s reign with the singles title, we get 1 or 2 defenses (probably on ROH tv/house shows) before they drop the belts...

I tend to think the latter.

If anyone has not seen the crockett cup I am uploading a majority of the matches to youtube. For some reason I found that my gopro broke a few videos into 2 parts, adding those now. Between that and my iPhone running out of space

Between that and my iPhone running out of space I am actually amazed how many views I have seen since posting my videos the last 2 days. That is at least a good sign that there are a lot of people out there that want to watch the NWA! Attachments:

Now, I hope this will be a yearly tradition by the NWA.

Now, I hope this will be a yearly tradition by the NWA. If you listen to Busted Open's interview with Billy Corgan you will hear his plans for the NWA, he even brought up about a NWA show

Now, I hope this will be a yearly tradition by the NWA. Amen to that, and hopefully in an expanded, multi-night format. Might be great for an NWA Anniversary show in that regard. I’ve previously stated, I’d love for the multiple promotions working together on future tournaments to have taped/presented qualifying matches (similar to ROH with Cobb/Mack vs the Briscoes) to further market the show and build-up the importance of it. The current NWA tag champs should have the top seed and face the winner of whatever qualifying match - 4 corners tag match, battle royal, etc - that they use to determine their Wild Card. I think it’s great to have international teams but that should be expanded to include multiple North American promotions being represented, as well. I’ll give Corgan and company credit for maintaining a sense of surprise this year. The match conclusions did not end they way I would’ve predicted
