Interesting, Bruce Tharpe has checked into the WWE Performance Center.

I love this, wasn't Bruce Tharpe puffing his chest out at the WWE and saying that they're afraid of the NWA Classics subscription on Twitter earlier this year? Yet as soon as the opportunity comes up for him to attend a press conference and gain a look at the WWE set up he's there marking out, taking photos with the workers (Including one who has trashed him publicly in Adam Pearce) and putting them over.
Also, the people on Facebook are hilarious. People suggesting that the NWA could be invading the WWE again and that Bruce Tharpe has "sold out". It's a bunch of fan boys on the Tharpe page, I'm glad the majority of them don't post on here.

Bruce because he's hypocritical, if you want to puff your chest out, slap it and say "The WWE is afraid of us" that's a little dumb but if you feel that way it's fine. To turn around a few months later and start promoting an alleged meeting with Triple H and to put the WWE over indirectly just shows that the dude is a mark who doesn't stick to his guns. He's also marking out on Facebook over all the Twitter attention he got. Dudes an asshole.
As for the fans, I'm not hating on them but the idiocy over there is ridiculous. Many guys suggested that the NWA might invade RAW just like back in the day and they mentioned names like Jason Kincaid and Jax Dane doing it. Big NWA fan but the WWE has absolutely no reason to book an NWA invasion in 2016 and using the likes of Dane and Kincaid would be ridiculous. At least the invasion back in the 90's featured some recognisable faces such as Jeff Jarrett and the Rock N'Roll Express. The most recognisable guy that the NWA has for WWE fans is Rob Conway and he's been gone from there for 10 years.

Just being blunt about it all, Shawn asked, I answered.

Let's be honest Tharpe is using his visit to The Performance Center to hype Tharpe and nothing else. People are speculating that Tharpe is going to be the GM on Smackdown and bring the NWA titles to the show. Not going to happen. People think there might be an NWA invasion. Not going to happen. My theory is that he accompanied a wrestler who is going to be in the cruiserweight tournament who also wrestles for the NWA to the center. And that's it. Nothing more. Tharpe is an opportunist, and is using this opportunity to get people talking and/or excited about something that's never going to happen.

Yup, although calling him out on it will get you flamed by the usual suspects.

I agree a lot of the speculation is crazy, that being said, Magnus "reason" is also wrong.

According to PWINSIDER:
NWA President Bruce Tharpe was also at the WWE Performance Center yesterday and tweeted out a photo of himself meeting with Triple H. We are told Tharpe was there to try and broker a deal with WWE in respect to the Paul Boesch Houston wrestling library. Tharpe has the rights to the library and utilizes it on the NWA's streaming service.
